If you do not want your Abstract to be published in the Proceedings, please email <a href=\"mailto:conf@apvi.org.au\">here<\/a><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nIn 2025 we once again took Abstracts (maximum 4 pages) on topics that match one of the four Streams listed below. Further information about each Stream is available by clicking on the Stream name.\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apvi.org.au\/solar-research-conference\/streams\/photovoltaic-devices\/\">Photovoltaic Devices<\/a><\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apvi.org.au\/solar-research-conference\/streams\/deployment-and-integration\/\">Renewable Energy Deployment &amp; Integration<\/a><\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apvi.org.au\/solar-research-conference\/streams\/solar-heating-cooling-low-carbon-living\/\">Solar Buildings and Solar Heating &amp; Cooling<\/a><\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apvi.org.au\/solar-research-conference\/streams\/concentrating-solar-thermal\/\">Concentrating Solar Thermal &amp; Process Heat and Chemistry<\/a><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\nThere was again a <strong>TWO\u2011STAGE<\/strong> submission process. This allowed: (1) reviews to be double-blind, and (2) reviewer comments to be implemented in the version published in the Proceedings (at the discretion of the authors.) The personal details that you provide at this stage (name, affiliation) will not be shared with reviewers.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Then click on the Submissions dropdown and select\u00a0\u00a0\u2018Make Submission\u2019 and complete the submission form, which includes the option to upload your abstract in PDF format<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>STAGE 2:<\/strong> (You complete this stage only after your Abstract is accepted)\r\n\r\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">If your abstract was accepted as a Paper, this means you will give an oral presentation. This will replace your original abstract.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Under Shortcuts, you may also submit a rebuttal to the review decision if you disagree with it.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<b>What to do next!<\/b>\r\n\r\nYou&#8217;ll need to prepare your presentation or poster, and make sure you <a href=\"https:\/\/apvi.org.au\/solar-research-conference\/register-now\/\">register for the conference!<\/a>\r\n\r\n<b>NOTES:<\/b>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>\u00a7\u00a0 The only difference between the two templates is that the Abstract PUBLICATION TEMPLATE has the authors added. But please use this template for the publishable version, so the author names are formatted correctly.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\u00a7\u00a0 The system only accepts uploads in PDF format.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b><strong>ORAL PRESENTATIONS <\/strong>(if accepted as a Paper)<b><\/b><\/b>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>The presentations are given a 20min time slot, which is divided into 15min presentation and 5min questions. <strong>THIS IS DIFFERENT TO PREVIOUS YEARS.<\/strong> You can use any ppt template you like.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>POSTER PRESENTATIONS<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>If you are presenting a poster it should be in <strong>portrait format, size A0 <\/strong>(841 x 1,189mm, or 16 pieces of A4 paper).
