THE NEED FOR PV RECYCLING

PV recycling is becoming an increasingly important consideration in the solar industry to address the growing volume of end-of-life (EoL) solar modules expected to enter the market in the coming years

A PV Recycling 101 Guide is available here

HIGHLIGHTS OF A RECENT STUDY

The scoping study, Solar Panel End-of-Life Management in Australia, provides in-depth analysis of the current PV recycling landscape in Australia and opportunities to support the transition to a circular industry over the next 12 years.

Key Finding

The cumulative volume of EoL solar panels in Australia is expected to reach 1 million tonnes by 2035 worth over $1 billion.
