IEA SHC Tasks

A new strategy for the IEA SHC program has been reviewed and accepted by the IEA Central Secretariat and the IEA’s Renewable Energy Working Party (REWP) for the program to continue for a further five year term.  The REWP was impressed with the work completed over the past five year term and agreed with the strategic plan produced to guide the program over the 2014-2018 period.  The strategic plan is available on the IEA SHC website http://www.iea-shc.org/strategic-plan

The Program also produces the annual market report Solar Heat World Wide.

The SHC program includes a number of projects (tasks) that are not specific to solar heating and cooling but provide the building blocks relevant to deploying a number of solar and energy efficiency technologies. A full list of current projects is available on the website http://www.iea-shc.org/tasks-current.

Many Australian organisations are active participants on SHC tasks.
